If you want to develop your running to the next level effortlessly, then this program is for you. The program is geared towards committed runners who already run recreationally and culminates with participation in the Calgary Marathon 10k race on May 27, 2012.
It will be an all inclusive journey on how to prepare and race for running longer distances based on our unique philosophy of effortless exercise. We're looking for 8-12 committed runners that want to prepare slowly and build their training base without injury.
The program will integrate theory and practical teachings as well as teach you how to intuitively train and race. We'll set up programs for all levels of running abilities and we'll be your coach for the year available to you as a guide along the way.
The structure is a weekly run with additional bi-weekly theory/discussion sessions to enhance learning. The class is set up similar to a university course with an emphasis on education on the finer points of training and nutrition. This program can and will adapted to all different levels of runners.
Program Goal: To run the Calgary Marathon 10km race
Course Timetable: February 15, 2012 - May 27, 2012
Format: Wednesdays, 6:30pm - 8:30pm, weekly short run with additional bi-weekly theory/discussion sessions after the run

Agenda Topics: We'll cover the full spectrum of topics about running, nutrition, and training
Fee: $150 per month (first month 50%) - includes all materials, course binder, the book Effortless Exercise, the Sunday Effortless Run Club, a Lactate Threshold Test, and e-mail support and coaching through the course.
